This Privacy Policy explains how HappyMeg ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the FingerprintHub API and website (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

• Account data — your email address and a securely hashed password.
• API credentials — the API key issued to your account.
• Usage data — the requests you make (metrics, timestamps, and the resources requested) for metering and billing.
• Payment records — top-up amounts, status, and an invoice/order reference from our payment processor. We do not receive or store your crypto wallet keys or card details.
• Technical data — a session cookie to keep you logged in, and standard request metadata (e.g. IP address) processed by our infrastructure providers.

2. How we use it

To operate and secure the Service: authenticate you, provision your API access, meter usage, process payments, prevent abuse, and communicate service and account messages (including email verification and password resets).

3. Service providers

We share the minimum necessary data with providers that help us run the Service:

• Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and transactional email delivery.
• Directus — the database that stores account, usage, and billing records.
• NOWPayments — cryptocurrency payment processing for top-ups.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies

We use a single, essential session cookie to keep you signed in. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

5. Retention

We keep account, usage, and payment records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

6. Your choices

You may access or update your account information from your dashboard, or request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. We will respond as required by applicable law.
